Significance of VALENTINE

The history of Valentine's Day is obscure, and further clouded by various fanciful legends. The holiday's roots are in the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, a fertility celebration commemorated annually on February 15.
Pope Gelasius I recast this pagan festival as a Christian feast day circa 496, declaring February 14 to be St. Valentine's Day. Valentines Galore Which St. Valentine this early pope intended to honor remains a mystery: according to the Catholic Encyclopedia , there were at least three early Christian saints by that name. One was a priest in Rome, another a bishop
in Terni, and of a third St. Valentine almost nothing is known except that he met his end in Africa. Rather astonishingly, all three Valentines were said to have been martyred on Feb. 14. Most scholars believe that the St. Valentine of the holiday was a priest who attracted the disfavor of Roman emperor Claudius II around 270. At this stage, the factual ends and the mythic begins.
According to one legend, Claudius II had prohibited marriage for young men, claiming that
bachelors made better soldiers. Valentine continued to secretly perform marriage ceremonies but was eventually apprehended by the Romans and put to death. Another legend has it that Valentine, imprisoned by Claudius, fell in love with the daughter of his jailer. Before he was executed, he allegedly sent her a letter signed "from your Valentine." Probably the most plausible story surrounding St. Valentine is one not focused on Eros (passionate love) but on agape (Christian love): he was martyred for refusing to renounce his religion. This is the kind of love tehat we are expected to show the God kind of love (agape). Lets see the God kind of love!
Characteristics of The God-Kind of Love, And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but THE GREATEST OF THESE IS CHARITY [love]. —1 Corinthians 13:13 He that loveth not knoweth not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE. —1 John 4:8 The Bible says that God is love. It also says that love is even greater than faith or hope. Well, since God is love, then we need to know what love is—that is, the God-kind of love. In First Corinthians 13:13, the King James Version of the Bible translates the word "love" as charity. Actually, it is to be regretted that the word "agape" was translated as charity because it doesn't really express the full meaning of the Greek word that is used in this verse. According to the dictionary, the word "charity" means a benevolent goodwill toward or love of humanity. But the actual Greek word that is used here is "agape," which means the love of God. Elsewhere in the New Testament, the word "agape" is translated love instead of charity. For example, in First John 4:8, the Bible literally says, "God is agape." In other words, God is love. So the word "agape" means the God-kind of love. What is agape or the love of God? Before I answer that, let me show you something interesting about the love of God. The Bible says that love is greater than either hope or faith (1 Cor. 13:13). Why is God's love greater than hope or faith? First of all, faith won't work without love. In other words, faith is dependent on love in order to work. Galatians 5:6 says, "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love." You can readily see that love would have to be greater if faith won't work without it. It takes love to make faith work. Second, faith won't work without hope. The New English translation of Hebrews 11:1 says, "Faith gives substance to our hopes." You have to hope for something before your faith can give substance to it. So faith is also dependent on hope. HEBREWS 11:1 1 Now FAITH is the substance of things HOPED FOR, the evidence of things not seen. You see, if you don't hope for anything, your faith can't work because it has no goal or object to believe God for. Therefore, faith can't work without hope. Also, faith is dependent on love in order to work. That's why the Bible says that love is greater than either hope or faith. At a time like this when the purpose of valentine as being turned to a time of lus affairs, when the purpose of valentine as being abused, we only need to know whom God is and the God kind of love will be manifesting in your life. Show the especialy to the less privilege around for it is only through this that all men will we are his disciples when we have love for one another, dont show favoriticism and dont give birth to val baby. Love u all and Happy Valentine.

WHY DONT YOU MAKE THAT CHANGE?

WHY NOT CHANGE?
Have you ever met someone who wasn’t happy unless he or she was going through some kind of massive change? Perhaps there are a few individuals in this world who thrive on uncertainty, enjoy feeling insecure, and love to have their routines disrupted. But I think it would be safe to say that most people resist change every now and then, especially when it affects an idea, position, or practice that is near and dear to them.
Although people in leadership roles are often called upon to be agents of change, I have found that leaders resist change as much as followers do! As you might guess, that poses a big problem in this world of rapid transition and constant flux. As I said, Developing the Leader Within You, “Unchanged leaders equals unchanged organizations.”
My goal in this column is not to teach you how to enact change or tell you when you need to change. I merely want to help you understand what most people—including many leaders—think about change. Here are six key observations:
1. Most people change just enough to get away from their problems, not enough to solve them. They change just enough to escape; and as soon as they escape, they say, “I’m OK now—I don’t have to do anything else.” Unfortunately, this is like painting a rusty car. Sooner or later, the paint wears off, and the rust has only gotten worse.

2. Most people want to change their circumstances to improve their lives instead of changing themselves to improve their circumstances. Let’s say you came to me, as leaders often do, and said, give me some leadership ideas so I can change the people of my organization.” Well, I’m happy to offer leadership advice, but not so you can change someone else. If I give you advice, I’d like it to change you, because if I can change you, your organization will change, too. As I’m fond of saying, “People do what people see.”

3. Most people do the same thing the same way and expect different results. I see it happen all the time: People keep doing the same thing the same way, and yet they expect something to get better. When you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done.

4. Most people are willing to change, not because they see the light, but because they feel the heat. Read this carefully. As a leader, you better change when you see the light because if you wait and change when you feel the heat, it’s too late. Leaders go first. I know—sometimes we don’t want to go first, especially when it comes to change. But we have to—that’s what it means to lead.

5. Most people are unwilling to pay the immediate price of change; therefore, they do not change and pay the ultimate price. Change is uncomfortable. It’s unsettling. Sometimes, it’s downright painful. But in the long run, the alternative is often much, much worse.

6. Most people see change as a hurtful thing that must be done, instead of a helpful thing that should be done. Not all change is good. Some changes are based on bad ideas. Others are self-serving to the people who enact them. But as Max De Prmee aid, “We cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are.”
Did you see yourself in any of these six observations? If so, decide today to change the way you think about change. Why is this so important? I stated the answer in Developing the Leader Within You: “When change is successful, you will look back at it and call it growth.”
“Life is an exciting business and most exciting when lived for others.”

“You may not be able to help everybody, but you can certainly help somebody.”

“I can do what you can’t do, and you can do what I can’t do. Together we can do great things.”

“No one ever achieves alone what he can do when partnering with others”

DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT

DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT: STAND OUT AND STEP UP YOUR PROFITS The first step in any sales process is to gain the attention of your prospective customer. Without doing this, there's no way to get your message across and no way to make a sale--unless it's by accident. In order to excel, you must differentiate yourself. And even after you gain a customer, it's imperative that you remain not only visible, but foremost in their mind. You want your customer to think of you first when it comes to buying your product or service. Differentiating yourself from your competitors is worthy of considerable and constant attention. It will save you monëy, time, aggravation and missed business. Is this easy? No, it's not. And that's why it's so uncommon. Standing out requires real thinking. It takes brainstorming. It requires knowing what your customer wants. It demands knowing who you are and what you stand for. It also requires knowing your competition. What Makes You Special? Every person--every company--has unique skills, talents and potential to bring to the marketplace. It's critical that you discover what these are. What special results can you deliver? How can you do it differently? What added value can or could you offer? Get your staff together and brainstorm this questiõn. Dig deep. Don't accept the easy answers. And keep digging. What Do Your Customers Really Want? You might think you know what your customers and potential customers need and you might even be right. But what do they actually WANT? Spend time talking with your clients. Do surveys. Make it easy for your customers to share their ideas, problems and dissatisfactions. Listen to them. The problems they bring up--ones they have in general and ones they have with you--are golden opportunities to help you craft your unique selling proposition and deliver exceptional service. How Can You Deliver Your Uniqueness in the Best Way? How can you do it faster or better? How can you make it easier to use your product or service? How can you make it less expensive? How can you make your product/service one-of-a-kind? How can you help your customer feel more special? How can you make your product feel exclusive? How can you be more responsive? What can you add to what you sell that would cost you little or no monëy but add real and perceived value? Explore other industries and think about ways you can implement strategies or services from other trades into YOUR trade. Perhaps one of the best questiõns to keep in the forefront of your mind is IWWCI (In What Ways Can I) increase the value of my product/service to my customers? I have an entire notebook devoted to just this questiõn. I'm constantly looking for ways to provide more value to our members. I sit down with it often to review my notes and add ideas. Doing things differently is worthy of your attention. And it's a process that is nevër complete. It should be constant and nevër- ending. It's also a lot of fun. It will keep your creative juices flowing. It will sharpen your thinking and increase your energy. And it will make you more profitable while giving greater value to your customers.

7 DECISIONS THAT DETERMINE YOUR SUCCESS IN LIFE

DECISION 2#: #DECISION TO EXCEL IN YOUR PRESENT ASSIGNMENT. Everything created solves a problem My eyes see, My ears hear, My mouth speaks, My mind thinks, My hand reach, My feet walk, Lawyers solve legal problems, Mothers solve emotional problems, Preachers solve spiritual problems. The fact that you are alive is a proof that God saw a problem nobody else could solve except you, That is your Assignment. Your Assignment is always the problem God has designed you to solve for others. Some facts about your assignments: You do not choose it You recognize it You do not decide who you are You discern who HE MADE YOU Turtles don’t talk, Trees don’t fly Your Assignment is not your decision but your discovery. Design reveals purpose, what you hate is a clue to your assignment. Why did Moses became angry when saw an Israelite physically beaten by an Egyptian? Because Moses was a deliverer. Love is a path and a clue to a hidden gift, what do you love to think about, learn about? Pay attention to what you love because what you love is a clue to your assignment, the proof of love is the investment of time, what grieves you is a clue to your assignment, what makes you weep is a clue to something God wants you to change and heal. MAKE YOUR ASSIGNMENT YOUR OBSESSION Your assignment must become your obsession; you will only have significant success in something that is an obsession, you will only succeed in the center of your assignment, it is very much possible for a sinner to be at the center of his assignment and it is also possible for a Christian to fail at recognizing his or her own assignment. 10 FACTS ABOUT YOUR ASSIGNMENT 1. Everything created solves a problem 2. Your assignment is always the problem god has designed you to solve for others 3. Your assignment is not your decision but your discovery 4. The proof of love is the investment of time 5. You will only have significant success in something that is an obsession 6. God made places before he made people 7. Go where you are celebrated not where you are tolerated 8. Divine provision is only guaranteed at the place of your assignment 9. Money is waiting for you………..at the place of your assignment 10. Your assignment is a place of divine reward. Stay tuned for decision 3# love you all. For your complains, enquires, and articles email Divine Concept at divinefaith26@gmail.com.......7A9C5A17

7 DECISIONS THAT WILL DECIDE YOUR SUCCESS IN LIFE

DECISION 1# #YOUR DECISION TO BUILD YOUR FAITH. Your faith decides your experiences. Faith is can be built, you can cause small faith to become great faith because God is not responsible for your faith but you are for your own faith. Why is faith important? Faith is the only thing that produces Miracles because God as never responded.......to pain, God has never responded......to tears, God has never responded.......to a human problem but God only responds to Faith. Faith is the only voice God respects, He even said "anything you do outside faith is a sin" either you eat outside faith is a sin or you walk outside faith its also a sin, whatsoever you do without faith believe you me its a sin before God so this gives us the major reason why faith s important in our day to day life. What is God like? The character of God is being made manifested if only you are ready to know it, Numbers 23 vs 19 explains a little of Gods' character, behavior, conduct and personality. "God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent of His word: hath He said and shall He not do it? or Hath he Spoken, and shall He not make it good?" God as one obsession.......to be believed. God caves to be trusted, He becomes angry when He's doubted but God's only pleasure is to be believed, everything good God has planned for you will happen until you trust in him. What makes doubt deadly....? Doubt produces tragedies as quickly as faith produces miracles, lets look briefly at the twelve spies sent to Canaan to spy the land. they spied out the whole land for 40 days, Ten men came back full of doubt and unbelief, for every day of doubt God gave them a year of heartache, "And your children shall wander in the wilderness for forty years and bear you whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. after the number of the days you searched the land even forty day each day for a year and ye shall know My beach of promise", Doubt produces Pain as Faith produces Miracles. doubt authorizes satanic attack against your life and leaves you stripped of protection. Faith comes when you hear God talk Faith is confidence in God Faith is voice activated Faith is not a silent voice inside you but released with your mouth, you cannot even be saved until you speak or confess it with your mouth. "That if though shall confess with thy mouth that Jesus is Lord, and shall believe in your heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved. for with heart man believe unto righteousness; and with mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Roman 10:9-10) How to Build Your Faith.... Faith comes by hearing.......the words of God. God has hidden capability in His words because what enters you determines what exits you. How do you get darkness to leave a room? you turn on the light and the entry of the light forces the exit of the darkness. This is the law of displacement, Daniel said "How does a man break off iniquity? by acts of righteousness so how do i cause doubt to leave? by bringing in Faith. When God begins talk doubt and fear die. TOP 10 FACTS ABOUT FAITH 1. YOUR FAITH DECIDES YOUR EXPERIENCE 2. FAITH IS THE ONLY VOICE GOD RESPECTS 3. GOD'S ONLY PAIN IS TO E DOUBTED AND GOD'S ONLY PLEASURE IS TO BE BELIEVED 4. DOUBT PRODUCES TRAGEDY AS QUICKLY AS FAITH PRODUCES MIRACLES 5. DOUBT PRODUCES PAIN LIKE FAITH PRODUCES MIRACLE 6. DOUBT AUTHORIZES SATANIC ATTACK AGAINST YOUR LIFE 7. WHAT ENTERS YOU DETERMINES WHAT EXITS YOU 8. EVERY DECISION YOU MAKE WILL BE FROM FEAR OR FROM FAITH 9. FAITH IS VOICE ACTIVATED 10. FAITH COMES WHEN YOU HEAR GOD TALK. Stay tuned for DECISION 2# that will make you to excel in your purpose and assignment....... WHAT IS LIFE

Life as define by biologists is the function of all living things, while the creator of life gives it as a gift. life can be viewed in different forms depending on the way it turns to each one.
life is a concept on its own that cannot be over emphasized, with this lets look briefly at what life entails.
life is not a matter of chance its a matter of choice is not a thing to be waited for its to be lived, therefore dont wait for the life you so desire to come but with the one you have live it to the fullest,  once asked one question some time ago that why do hot dogs come in packages of 10 and hot dog buns come in packages of 8? with that question possed to alot of people, only few could answer that question. if you to cant answer the question, then you need to work towards reaching the state of enlightenment for you to understand life in full. life doesn't always go as planned so which ever one you have live it to the best of your capacity and impact life with it. Life or success is not measured by what you acquire in this life but by the the number of life you were able to impact. you have some hidden treasures in you that are waiting to exploit because the earnest expectation of the world is just for your manifestation.
Your coming to this world is not to come for coming sake and go and be like a snake that passed on the rock without making an impact, but you are sent to occupy a position and to comprehend something, discover that thing and you will find out you can never be ignored......stay tuned for more. With love from you man DIVINE. beautifying your life with designs
